Implementation of E-Governments System in Iraq

Using information and communication technology (ICT) to deliver business and organizational mandates is an efficient and competent method. Part of a government's responsibility is to benefit its citizens, which they achieve through utilizing ICT to update any services or facilities. E-governments also attempt to improve citizens' lives in terms of society, politics, and the economy. Governments move all of the administrations into “smart governments”. Unfortunately, some governments in underdeveloped nations are unable to make such a shift for a variety of reasons. is no e-government interoperability, there are insufficient resources, and there is no managerial commitment. As a result, the purpose of this work is to provide a framework for e-government deployment in Iraq. The political, technical, cultural, and legal barriers to e-governance implementation in Iraq have all been identified. An online survey of 180 managers was conducted to examine the e-government implementation framework. There was no coordination between state directives, there was a shortage of security equipment, users lacked confidence, and there was no information technology law and integrity. This study is unique in that it aims to develop an adequate e-government in Iraq.
