In this work, we present a dataset, which provides information on occupational airborne exposure and the prevalence of self-reported Asthma and wheezing with a cough without flu/cold among workers in selected factories in Industrial Area Nairobi, Kenya. The data were collected from different measurements in the factories and from the factories’ workers. The data set covers five factories and No 388 respondents. The Touhilampi Questionnaire, a validated respiratory health questionnaire [1], was modified to include home environment and used to capture data on respiratory health, asthma knowledge index and home environment. Particulate matter (PM 10) concentrations of the working environment was also measured using SKC Air samplers and a 24 hour PM10 average for each recorded. Lung function tests using an AKA Spirometer was also undertaken and the FVC1/FCV % findings registered for each of the workers (calculated).
